The Matrix Resurrections (HBO Max)
His debut on HBO Max, the fourth film in the sci-fi Matrix franchise, sees Thomas Anderson (Keanu Reeves) in San Francisco. Wait, didn’t Mr. Anderson (aka Neo) die at the end of the third Matrix movie? And what is Trinity (Carrie-Ann Moss) doing here? She died too, and neither she nor Mr. Anderson seem to remember what happened to them. It’s time to take the red pill again to find out what’s going on.
HBO Max is your home for Warner Bros. movies and TV shows like The Lord of the Rings, the DC Comics superheroes and more. It is also home to new and original movies and shows not available anywhere else.
The Ricardos Are (Amazon Prime Video)
Aaron Sorkin wrote and directed this early TV lookback for Amazon Prime Video. The film is set in the 1950s during a week of filming for an episode of I Love Lucy. Don’t Look Up (Netflix)
Adam McKay wrote and directed this satirical film for Netflix with an all-star cast. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence, who play two astronomers who discover a comet. The problem? It will collide with the earth. However, convincing the rest of the world that this comet poses a threat to humanity is even harder than trying to stop its date with fate. Other cast members include Jonah Hill, Mark Rylance, Cate Blanchett, Tyler Perry, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande and Meryl Streep as the US President.
Netflix is still the leading premium streaming service, with over 200 million worldwide subscribers. It offers thousands of movies and TV shows to binge-watch, including the ever-growing list of original movies and series including Stranger Things, The Witcher, Bridgerton, and many more.

Paramount Plus includes thousands of movies and TV shows from CBS, Showtime, and Paramount Pictures. It also includes new and original movies such as The Good Fight, Infinite and more.
Vigil Season 1 (Peacock)
Some of the best crime dramas on TV come from the UK. A very popular recent crime show from the BBC makes its US debut this week via Peacock. It certainly has a unique premise. Two members of the Scottish police force try to solve a murder that appears to have taken place aboard a Royal Navy Trident nuclear-powered submarine.
NBCUniversal’s Peacock streaming service offers many great movies and TV shows to stream on demand, along with live news and sports. Best of all, you can watch a lot of the content for free, or watch it all with a paid subscription starting at just $4.99 per month.
