  • Motorola has launched the Moto G71 in India.
  • The budget phone includes the Snapdragon 695 SoC, a 50MP main camera and a 5000mAh battery.
  • The price starts at Rs 18,999.

After launching its new G-line in Europe in November, Motorola is now bringing the top-of-the-line G71 to India.

The phone is the first in the country to land with the 5G-toting Snapdragon 695 SoC, now built on the 6mn process and coming with efficiency gains over the outgoing 690.

What else will the Moto G71 bring to the market? Up front, you get a 6.4-inch FHD+ OLED display coupled at 60 Hz. Below that is a 5,000 mAh battery that is charged via a 33 W system. The phone also has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The package is completed by a 50MP primary, 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro triple camera array, with a 16MP selfie camera.

Other pluses include a 3.5mm headphone jack, an IP52 rating, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and the company’s “bloatware-free” skin on top of Android 11.

Moto G71: prices and availability

The Moto G71 will sell for Rs 18,999 (~$256) in Neptune Green and Arctic Blue. General availability starts on January 19 at 12 noon on Flipkart.
