Welcome to the OnePlus Nord 2 Update Hub. Here you will find the latest information about updates for the second generation Nord. We will detail the current software versions for the device and notify you when a new update is rolled out. OnePlus normally releases Oxygen OS updates to its Nord devices on a regular basis, but availability may be affected by variant, carrier, and region.
The OnePlus Nord 2 gets two years of major Android upgrades (Android 12 and Android 13) and three years of security patches.

Latest OnePlus Nord 2 updates
28 Dec 2021: OnePlus will roll out an update for the Nord 2 at the end of December. Numbered as Oxygen OS A.15, the update brings camera and Bluetooth performance improvements and fixes a few “known issues.” The December 2021 Android security patch is also included.

Previous OnePlus Nord 2 updates
- Dec 9, 2021: Oxygen OS A.14 rolled out with the November 2021 Android security patch and general stability improvements.
- Nov 16, 2021: A new unannounced update is coming to the OnePlus Nord 2. Spotted by XDA Developers, and reported by a user on OnePlus Forums, Oxygen OS A.13/A.12 for India/Europe weighs about 645 MB and brings more tweaks to the mid-range device. Strangely enough, as noted by XDA and a screenshot of OnePlus Updater, the European patch includes the October 2021 Android security patch, not the November update scheduled for the Indian release.
- October 11, 2021: Oxygen OS A.11 brought several system changes, improved HDR effects for pixel peepers and “optimized network stability”. The September 2021 Android security patch was also included.
- August 30, 2021: Oxygen OS 11.3.1.10 included power optimization for games, improved the Nord 2’s face unlock system, and included the August 2021 Android security patch.
- August 3, 2021: Oxygen OS 11.3.A.08 has made system stability improvements and tweaks to the Nord 2’s camera system. The latter included optimizations for the HDR function effect and improved “shooting performance”.
- July 23, 2021: Oxygen OS 11.3.A.05 landed as the first software update for the Nord 2. Per XDA Developers, it brought several system optimizations and camera and network related improvements.
