- The Sony 2022 TV lineup dropped at CES today.
- The lineup includes two TVs with QD-QLED panels for a brighter screen.
- The Google TV platform is pre-installed on all new Bravia TVs.
Among the new Sony 2022 TV models are the 55- and 65-inch Master Series A95K televisions. They will be Sony’s first TVs with a QD-OLED screen. QD stands for Quantum Dot and the panels allow these TVs to have a much higher level of brightness compared to normal OLED screens. The TVs will also have a stand with two different positioning options. One pushes the TV forward while the other places the TV back to the wall.
The Master Series Z9K televisions will use Mini-LED technology for better contrast, high blacks and greater brightness. These will also all be 8K resolution televisions and will come in 75-inch and 85-inch models. Sony is also launching the X95K TVs with 4K resolutions in 65-, 75- and 85-inch models, and the X90K models with a full array LED screen in 55-, 65-, 75- and 85-inch versions.
The A80K series of OLED Sony Bravia televisions will be released in 55-, 65- and 75-inch versions. Finally, the Master A90K TVs will offer OLED televisions in smaller 42-inch and 48-inch models. The stands of these TVs can also be adjusted so that they can be placed on a desktop for some gaming PC action.
Sony 2022 TV Series: Bravia Cam
Sony will also release a new accessory, the Bravia Cam. This TV camera can detect where a person is sitting and automatically adjust the image for the most optimized video. The camera also offers video chat and gesture control options.
The company plans to announce release dates and pricing for all of these new Bravia TVs later this spring. Expect to pay a premium for these televisions, but they are usually worth the price.
